The St Lawrence Co-ordinated Service (SLCS), a North Atlantic container service operated by Hong Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line and Canada Maritime (Canmar), will switch British ports from Felixstowe to Thamesport from February 15. SLCS officials said the relocation, part of a review of SLCS port strategies, would become effective with the February 15 call of the 2,200 teu (20 ft equivalent unit) vessel Canmar Fortune.
The weekly SLCS service also calls at Montreal, Antwerp and Le Havre with three 2200 teu container ships, Canmar Fortune, Canmar Courage and OOCL Canada. Read More...
